Révélations sur la vie extra-terrestre
Dans un développement étonnant, la NASA et la Library of Congress (gouvernement américain) tiendront un colloque à Washington DC du 18 au 20 septembre 2014 pour examiner les vastes implications de la découverte de la vie dans l'Univers. Le but principal de l'événement est décrit comme ceci :
« Préparation
à la découverte - une approche rationnelle d'une trouvaille microbienne
complexe, ou d'une vie intelligente au-delà de la Terre "
Cela semble être le premier événement majeur
parrainé par le gouvernement des États-Unis pour donner à l'humanité un
grand pas de plus vers la connaissance que nous ne sommes pas seuls
dans l'univers. Curieusement, il est ouvert au public.
Date - 18 Septembre au19 Septembre 2014, de 09:00 à 16:30
Entrée: gratuite et ouverte au public
Lieu: Le John W. Kluge Center, Salle 119, bâtiment de Thomas Jefferson.
Un autre objectif principal déclaré de cet événement :
L'objectif principal du colloque est alors décrit comme explorer " comment
nous nous préparons à faire face à de nouvelles connaissances qui
peuvent remettre en question nos conceptions mêmes de la vie et notre
place dans l'univers."
Des anthropologues aux astrophysiciens, du Vatican jusqu'au SETI, la liste des participants (voir ci-dessous) se lit comme un " Qui est pour une divulgation sur les OVNI et les extraterrestres ?. "
Steven J. Dick sera l'hôte de cet événement spécial. Il est le détenteur de la Chair d'astrobiologie 2013-2014 et pour ce congrès Baruch S. Blumberg NASA
/ Bibliothèque du Congrès et président de la Bibliothèque du Congrès.
Il a une longue carrière professionnelle pour la NASA et l'US Naval
Observatory à Washington, DC. Il est également un célèbre auteur dont
les livres ont été traduits en plusieurs langues.
